Lakewood Music Debuts Lead Single 'Can I Get An Amen' To Yankee Stadium In New York City
Lakewood Music, one of today’s premier worship groups, based in Houston, Texas debuted its new single, “Can I Get An Amen,” with combined viewership across the globe of over 1 million people at the venerable Yankee Stadium in New York City. The lead-off single is from the group’s upcoming Fall 2022 full-length sophomore release.
This past Saturday, Lakewood Music was part of Come Home To Hope. a one-night-only event at Yankee Stadium. The group, comprising Alexandra Osteen, Tauren Wells, Ramirio Garcia, Deborah Orta, Daniel Franco, Joe Catuby, Jamie Garcia, Arthur Ceker, Abel Orta, Jr, Aylssa Padilla, James Orta and Louie Garcia, captivated the large crowd with their moving and motivational set of original music. The ensemble’s unbounded energy and exuberant brand of praise music is a force for love and hope.
"We believe there is power when we join our faith in agreement. Through this song, we hope to bring people together in response to God’s promise with a resounding chorus of ‘amen’ - so be it,” says Alexandra Osteen on behalf of the group.
It was the Osteen's first large-scale public gathering outside Houston in more than three years and included special guests, inspirational speakers, and praise and worship music from award-winning artists including Cece Winans and Tauren Wells. Since inception, these incredible events have been attended by more than 2 million people in stadiums around the world.
