Northern Ireland worship band, Rend Collective, has released their newest album, Whosoever.

The band say "The record is about God's vast, generous embrace - wide enough, for the prodigal sons, cynical older brother and any other label we might apply to ourselves or others. As the title of the album clearly states - the gospel is for everyone". And you can hear from the moment it starts to the end that this is an album for people to listen to and know God is for us.

As the title of the album clearly states - the gospel is for everyone". And you can hear from the moment it starts to the end that this is an album for people to listen to and know God is for us.

We at LTTM have been fans of the music the band have made from day one. The moment I pressed play on the track 'Come On' from their first album Organic Family Hymynal, my ears knew this was a band I could call my own. What I have always loved about Rend Collective is how creative they are with their lyrics, how honest they are in their songwriting and how creative they are in their musical approach that I instantly became a fan.

And what is great is this album is no different. The title track 'Whosoever' kicks this album off with a massive anthem. 'Plans' is a song that will be instantly loved around the world. The track 'Hallelujah Anyway' is an anthem of joy, 'Let it Roll' mashes together country and rock music with beautiful energy. 'Boast In The Cross' is a beautiful track and so heartfelt that the only way I can describe it is as a truly stunning song. Moving on with the album, another great track that needs a mention is 'Beloved'. The harmonies on 'Beloved' are a delight to listen to over and over again, and that's what is great about this album - the great tracks go on and on. I can guarantee that one song will be your favourite whilst someone else will love another track on this album, it's that kind of album.

Rend have made an album here that plays to their strengths, and an album that we have come to expect from them, but you can also see they have pushed themselves musically as any band does when they release a new album. What I mean is that this is a classic Rend album with a good few twists and turns along the way. When I sit here and listen to Whosoever, I can imagine all of these songs working so well in a live setting and once the band tour this album this will be a must concert to get to. Rend are loved as a band worldwide, and with this album the love of these guys will 100% continue. Welcome back Rend Collective.
