Maria Gilpin To Release New Single 'Rend Your Heart'
Maria Gilpin, a prophetic worship leader/singer songwriter and founder of Beyond The Surface movement, releases her latest single 'Rend Your Heart' on September 23rd 2022. 'Rend Your Heart' is the third single from Maria's new collection of songs.
The song is a call to return to true worship based around Joel 2:13: "Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity." (NIV)
Maria says of the song, "It’s time to return to our first love. We have made idols that have replaced the Father. Our worship has become stale. Like a damp cloth left sitting in the corner of the room. We need to learn what it really is to worship the King in spirit and in the truth that we are in desperate need of Him. Once we grasp the realisation of our need, gratitude will be our oil of praise. From that posture we will pour authentic worship worthy for our King. A sweet aroma, pleasing to the father."
Maria has been leading worship alongside her husband Mark for all most 20 years. They have lead worship in many countries around the world and currently lead a prophetic worship movement where people gather from all parts of Ireland. This movement exists beyond the four walls of the church and is currently held in theatres across the country. With the help of the Holy Spirit, they intend to reach all of Ireland and beyond to bring hope to the nations.
She released her debut EP 'Giving It All' in October 2016 to rave reviews.
