Terry Bell is a successful Nashville singer, songwriter, musician, producer and performer and seasoned veteran of the music business and a well respected professional in the community.
He’s had over 30+ years experience in the art of crafting songs that tell stories about life, love, loss, hope, finding faith and courage to follow your dreams and overcoming difficult challenges when you find yourself in a dark place, he likes to let a little light in and put a positive spin on the songs he writes.
'She's Got a Heart Like Mine' was written with Thad Christopher, a Christian artist he met at Gateway Entertainment in Nashville in the late 90's. Terry and Thad had great success writing songs together that hit the top of the Positive/Christian Country charts.
When Thad got signed for an artist development deal he co-wrote songs for the spec project that was being produced by Keith Olsen, Multi Grammy Award winning and Legendary Rock producer of Fleetwood Mac, Rick Springfield, Whitesnake, Pat Benatar, Heart, Journey, Grateful Dead, Foreigner, The Baby's 38 Special, Santana and many others.
Keith loved the song and demoed it for Thad to play for James Stroud at Giant Records and some of the other labels that were interested in signing him.
The song sat in the can for 30 years until Terry decided to record the song for a new project he was working on in 2019. He contacted Bryan Cumming from the Wanna Beatles. Both were big fans of the Beatles, the Eagles and the soft rock sound of the 70's and they produced the song with a mix of country, rock, pop, some cool melodic guitar hooks, hand claps, 3 part harmonies that makes you feel good when you listen to it.
The song was originally released on his label Clear as a Bell Music and it charted in the top 5# of the Independent Music Network Country charts, it was nominated by the IMN in 2019 for a Breakout Country Single Award by the radio broadcasters for the high numbers in country charts.
The Remix 2022 was promoted to the IMN syndicated radio stations for their Hot Summer Sizzling radio special, the song was 1# for 2 weeks in a row. The fans loved the song and so did the program diretors and hosts that played the song.
