Emilie Weiss Releases New Single 'Come Through'
Emilie Weiss has released her latest single 'Come Through', available now on all streaming platforms. The new track follows previous single 'Maybe', both taken from her forthcoming new album.
At a young age, Emilie Weiss collected her skills-a decade of classical piano training, a knack for penning lyrics, and the willingness to sing-and offered them to a church short-staffed on worship team volunteers. The experience illuminated a passion that pointed towards her future: one where she'd write songs and equip the church to sing them alongside her.
That future was cemented while attending Southeastern University, where Weiss helped transform the school's worship team into the nationally renowned, SEU Worship. She honed her craft for songwriting and recorded one of the group’s highest streaming songs to date, “Altar.” The song was quickly adopted by churches around the world, prompting Weiss to continue utilizing her skills as a songwriter and worship leader after college.
Weiss settled in Central Florida and fulfilled her future. Her time is spent leading worship for various congregations and lending her voice to worship projects. She helps churches write and record original music and spends the rest of her time writing and recording her own.
Weiss sings about Jesus with familiarity and affection, as if aware the subject of her song is watching her sing it. She harnesses intimacy through honesty, channeling life's human experiences into songs of praise. She embraces the aspects of life neglected by most but experienced by all and offers them, cloaked in indie-pop sensibilities, to everyone.
