Ian S. Tschirhart Releases Back Catalogue On Streaming Platforms

Dec 07 2022

Singer/songwriter Ian S. Tschirhart, from Michigan, has recently released a number of his songs through streaming platforms.

"Shortly after I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at 41, I wrote a song called, Little Ol’ Me. I believed it could be a good song if professional musicians and recording engineers fixed it up. I searched online and found a demo company. As they worked on it, I was told by the one who ran the company that my version used an odd timing pattern that changed a lot. I explained to him that that was not intentional, and if he could put it in a consistent signature that would be great. Well, he did, and the song turned out quite beautifully. In fact, it was granted Honorable Mention in a song contest.

I believe my songs are unique in at least two ways. One, because I don’t have a good grasp of music theory, I often come up with chord progressions that are, well, different... but in good and interesting ways. They are also unique in that I don’t particularly write praise or worship songs; I write about the people, pets, places, and experiences in my life and how I am thankful to God for them.

If 1 Corinthians 1:27 applies to anyone, it certainly applies to me, at least in regard to music: “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. Like prophets, God knows His servants even before they are formed in the womb.”

I have recently released 67 of my songs through platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, and others."
