Jemimah Paine Releases New Single 'Head & Heart'
Jemimah Paine is a classically-trained singer/songwriter, singing teacher & worship leader based in West London. Originally from the Island of Guernsey, Jemimah has sung since she was 7 and taught singing for the past 7 years. Her latest single 'Head & Heart' is available now.
"The first of 4 new songs making up my brand new EP ‘Colour’ (releasing this coming May), this contemporary pop song was written during my EP writing and recording week last year and is about the journey from head to the heart. That is one thing i am really passionate about, is for my music to help people make that journey, from knowing Jesus in their head and deciding to have a relationship with Him in their heart. It is an honest reflection which I hope many people can relate to. My producer Féz co-wrote the song with me along with Joe Baxter." Jemimah says: "It took us only a few hours to write this song from start to finish and I love the energetic mood of the song. The chorus has a really catchy tagline which will be sure to have you singing along!"
Jemimah moved to London in 2014 to study Theology, Music & Worship at London School of Theology. Jemimah has sung as a guest soloist for various concerts in Guernsey, London & Amsterdam. She leads worship regularly at her local Church in Hammersmith & has been leading worship for a conference called Lifestream Europe over the past 4 years in Belgium.
In January 2020 Jemimah released her debut EP ‘Anthem’s. During lockdown 2020 Jemimah was involved in a number of music collaboration and co-writing projects and released her second EP ‘Friend’ in August 2021 which contains a number of exciting collaborations with J. Vessel, Matias Ruiz and Tania Ilyashova. In June Jemimah recorded her new 4 track EP which will be released over the coming months. She wrote this with Joe Baxter (collaborated recently with Connor Maynard) and Féz who also produced the EP.
