Gospel Music Duo Rikki Doolan And Savanah Combine To Worship
Two of UK’s most prominent rising gospel music artists, Rikki Doolan and Savanah have collaborated to release a song of worship about the depth of Jesus Christ’s love.
Both artists many could argue are an unlikely duo because of their differing styles. Rikki Doolan is known for his brand of Gospel Rock n Roll music, which consists of high energy ministration combined with deep poetic lyrics. Savanah is a powerful and highly anointed worshipper, whose voice is so powerful, highly comparable,whose and her songs are deep worship style that engage the listener into intimacy with God. Both artists are part of the collective that everyone is talking about in the UK, GoodNews Music, is the rising giant in the Christian Music Scene, with over 20 artists that cover a vast majority of genres. From Afrobeats to rock, to reggae. There is something for everyone. GoodNews Music to date has amassed over 30 millions streams and it continues to rise.
Both artists have worshipped together in their local church Spirit Embassy since 2013. Doolan said, “the journey for both of us has been spectacular and now God is bringing it full circle, this is our first duet in music and to be doing it together is a call from God.” In 2017 they were launched as the first GoodNews Music artists in history.
As of last year they were the top streamed artists in GoodNews Music history amassing 6 million streams combined. Savanah said “if you really knew us back in 2013 you would know how impossible where we are today would seem, God has made a way!” The song ‘You’d Do It Again” is all about Jesus and is focused upon His glory! the pair say “If Christ were to go through all of that suffering and torture, to die, to be in the grave for 3 days and then rise again; he would do it again for us if He had to. Jesus Christs’ love is so deep that he would do it all again.”
The music video for “You’d Do It Again” was released on Good Friday 7th of April on YouTube, perfectly timed to celebrate the Lord Jesus’ Love.
