Greaternity Releases Reggae Influenced Second Single, 'Trust My Word'
Christian music project, Greaternity, joyfully announces their second single, 'Trust My Word,' was released on Tuesday, May 2nd. This Reggae influenced song is the second in a series of divinely inspired song messages. Greaternity's debut single, 'The Son of Man' was released in October of last year. 'Trust My Word' features a reading of Matthew 11:28-30 and promotes God's Word as The Truth.
"When heaven and earth both pass away, My Word will live on with each passing day. My Word is The Truth and The Truth will never die. Trust My Word and you will reach the sky. Trust My Word."
This song message also encourages everyone to read God's Word (The Bible), believe it in your hearts and share with others. God is always with you and shows his love for you in many different ways, so you should always share God's Love with others.

Greaternity is led by singer/songwriter Bobby Joe Owens (aka Robert J. Thompson) who wrote 'Trust My Word' and 'The Son of Man' after being born again in the fall of 2021. “In the fall of 2021, after my fiancé had a near death experience following a minor surgical procedure, she went downhill quickly. She was placed on a ventilator and given a 50% chance of survival. I hadn’t prayed in decades, but something deep down inside me told me to pray and to get as many as I could to join in," Owens said, explaining the origins of the overall project.
“Pray we did and over the next few days, I witnessed several little miracles and the healing Grace of God. It wasn’t looking good, she was given the ‘Anointing of the Sick,’ but she hung on and kept getting gradually better day by day. I finally brought her home after three weeks in the hospital and a rehab facility. After I felt she was out of the woods and on her way to a full recovery, I thanked God; asked how I could be of service and made it clear that I was ready to serve. To my surprise, God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ answered me.”
“They ‘authorized’ (not a mandate) me to write and record song messages from Jesus that were to be written and sung in the first person as if Jesus were singing. This authorization was so clear to me that I’ve never questioned it and have graciously accepted this as my mission for as long as the Holy Spirit guides me. They even gave me ‘The Son of Man’ as the title of the first and most important of the song messages, with others like 'Trust My Word' to follow.”
Arranged by Jamaican Native Dwayne Joseph Mighty, 'Trust My Word' was recorded at Mighty's Gmkm Production Studio (Trinidad and Tobago) by Mighty and Whiskey Bear Studio in Virginia Beach by Studio Owner Chris Kendrick. The song features lead vocals by Bobby Joe Owens and instruments and recordings by both Mighty and Kendrick. Mighty even added his voice for the BGVs. 'Trust My Word' was mixed and mastered by Dwayne Joseph Mighty at Gmkm Production.
Greaternity plans additonal song messages for release in 2023 and beyond.
