Daniel Doss Releases 'Goodness Goes On And On'

May 23 2023

Daniel Doss is back, releasing his new single 'Goodness Goes On And On'. One day in the mountains of Colorado, Daniel along with Jonathan Jay (Maverick City Music) and Stefan Cashwell found themselves writing in a cabin next to a small stream. With the windows open you could hear the steady, calming water flowing. Stefan began playing an acoustic part that sounded like the brook and they just started singing about God's goodness.

The mountaintop experiences give us rest from the valleys behind us and courage for the ones ahead. This song is a moment to thank the Lord and bask in His faithful goodness. It just keeps going on and on and on.

These songs reveal some cracks in the armor of a battled tested believer. Years ago having walked through the valley and mountain top of adoption, traversing through a season of doubt, then continuing on through the struggles of 2020; Daniel has a history of walking through tough seasons and writing songs to help himself and others walk through it as well. This new batch of songs definitely digs deep into his roots of a southern style fused with some deep soul.

Daniel is a professional songwriter having been signed with Worship Together (CAPITOL) and most recently a staff writer with Word Worship (CURB/WORD) from 2016-2019. He has written with worship leaders from Passion City Church, Northpoint Community Church, Vertical Worship, Life.Church, Housefires, Maverick City Music, Iron Bell, Red Rocks Worship, Crosspoint, New Vision, Long Hollow, Brave Worship, Kingdom Songs, Exponential Conference, and many more. He loves to come along side worship leaders and teams to help give voice to congregations.
