Canadian Artist Matt LeFait Releasing 'You Are Peace'
Matt LeFait, a Canadian Christian artist/producer/worship leader, releases his new single 'You Are Peace' on June 23rd, with fellow Canadian Christian award winning artist Chelsea Amber joining him on the song.
"Some songs take days or years to write, other songs take minutes. 'You Are Peace' is one of those songs that poured from my heart within 15 minutes", explains Matt.
"This song derived from a sudden and hurtful situation that had me questioning a lot about God, myself, and even those I thought I could trust. The day I received the news about this situation I unintentionally ended up in my music studio at my desk and started asking God ALL the questions. You know the ones, why, how etc.
I felt the Holy Spirit tell me to grab my book and a pen and write down how I was feeling. That's exactly where this song came from.
I knew at that moment that everything would be ok. I could trust the One who created me and holds my heart closer than anyone else could.
So my heart in this song is that whatever your storm looks like, no matter how tired, frail, and empty you feel, you have a father in heaven who loves you and wants to fill you with HIS peace."
