Kenny Lee Roberts Releases Music Video For 'Palm of my Saviours Hand'
Kenny Lee Roberts, an artist and performer based in Scotland, has recently released his latest album 'No Talc on the Dance Floor', featuring the song 'Palm of my Saviours Hand'.
The album was inspired and influenced by the iconic Bruce Springsteen, Americana, and the genre of Northern Soul - a musical movement originating in England and inspired by Motown and rhythm and blues of the 60s and 70s.
Acclaimed by the UK music press, Kenny's new album is his second studio album and follows on from the well-received debut album ‘Exactly Different’ released last year. 'No Talc on the Dance Floor' sees Kenny Lee Roberts continuing to channel his musical influences over the years, with some upbeat horn and brass-driven songs inspired by the deep routed Northern Soul scene in the UK, as well as his early influences of Dexy’s and Van Morrison. These tracks, which are a joy to perform live, are coupled with songs drawn from his other great love of Americana, with Springsteen and Billy Joel leaving their imprint on his songwriting style.
