UK Based Artist James Haynes Announces New Single 'Made a Mess'

Jul 26 2023

James Haynes, an independent Christian artist from Bournemouth in the UK is back with his new single "Made a Mess", releasing on Friday September 1st.

"Made a Mess explores two types of freedom", he explains. "Firstly it looks at what is called "false freedom" which is where our hearts discern that we are free to do what our flesh wants. We see many people fall into this way of living. Comparatively, it explores true freedom, and how through God there is healing from the consequences of things that we do when we have been living in conformity with the world. This single aims to show that we require Grace and a partnership with Jesus to navigate through this and raises awareness of it.

These lyrics are a testimony that God makes a way, drawing upon challenging personal experiences, whilst reflecting on the present and how far Jesus has taken me. I believe that these experiences are relatable to all of us and believe in this song's potential to make people think. as well as its meaningful message, Made a mess experiments with a mixture of genre, making it fresh and distinctive, whilst retaining familiarity.
