Parachute Band Plan New Album For Early 2011 After New Deal With Integrity Music

May 27 2010

New Zealand's Parachute Band have just signed a new distribution deal with Integrity Music, which will see the band working with the US record label for up to three new albums, starting with the release of their third album which is due for release in early 2011.

Integrity Music has worked with Parachute Band since the original line-up released 'All The Earth' back in 2006. Parachute Band originally formed in 1996 as the in-house worship band for the annual Parachute Festival in New Zealand, leading the Mainstage crowd into the presence of God with locally written worship music. Seven albums later, with nearly a decade of touring under their belt, the mantle was passed to the second generation of the band.

The second generation Parachute Band has released two studio albums, 'Roadmaps and Revelations' (2007) and 'Technicolor' (2008). "The band's original contract expired this year, so negotiating the new deal has allowed both parties to look forward to the future of the current line-up, and start planning for the release of their third album which is due early 2011", said the band.
