Larry Dean Madden has released "Be Still", taken from his latest album "Project One" available on all digital outlets. Featuring Gabe Patillo, this track belies its name with a powerful message set to an upbeat tempo.
Larry Dean Madden loves just about every genre of music from blue grass to hip hop. He is also ADHD. Put these two qualities together and you get the diverse style of Larry’s music. However, the one thing that remains constant is the message of the songs he chooses to sing or write. The songs are always Christ-centered.
In this busy and fast-paced world, life gets crazy. When we allow ourselves to get caught up in this busy lifestyle it becomes difficult to hear the voice of God. The all-knowing God has given us the remedy to this problem in Psalm 46:10 - "Be still, and know that I am God."
On the evening of November 27, 2021, Larry visited his mom who was suffering from congestive heart failure. He sang for her and then made a promise to her, hoping to encourage his most loyal fan, that he would record at least one more album. However, on that very night, his mom passed away. Even though his mom would never see or hear the promise fulfilled, Larry began recording again in August of 2022.
Larry feels it is time to begin sharing with the rest of the world what God is doing in his own heart. He knows it is time. “Time” for what, we are not sure. In the meantime, we need to "Be Still" and know He is God.
