Housefires Movement Grows Community on New Album 'How To Start A Housefire (Pt. III)'

Nov 03 2023

In 2014, Housefires re-invented the worship music landscape forever, introducing a new sound that was spontaneous, community-embracing and felt like an unfiltered experience versus a recording. Earlier this year, the music collective reunited to release the first two parts of its ‘How To Start A Housefire’ project and now, Housefires shares Part III via Capitol CMG / Tribl Records.

Housefires represents community with a diverse group of individual artists including Davy Flowers, Ryan Ellis, Chandler Moore, Kirby Kaple, Ahjah Walls and others, coming together to create a powerful worship experience through music and build an “atmosphere of overwhelming unity” (Forbes).

Produced by GRAMMY-winning producers Jonathan Jay and Norman Gyamfi, ‘How To Start A Housefire Part III’ features ten breathtaking tracks mixed with spontaneous flows between songs. These songs are a non stop invitation to those who need encouragement, uplift and hope. From finding a sense of belonging on “The Place Where I Belong” to finding gratitude in life’s hard moments on “I’ll Give Thanks'' to the power of being fully known and loved in “You Know My Name,” ‘How To Start A Housefire Part III’ offers a soundtrack to all of life’s ups and downs.
