Corey Lueck Brings 'Joy' With New Single

Mar 19 2024

Corey Lueck has released his new single 'Joy', produced by two-time Dove Award Winner, Ian Eskelin, and available now on streaming platforms.

Corey was born into a musical family, and took up the drums and singing at age 5. He started his first high school rock band in Grade 11. Soon after graduating high school, Corey, with his brother Todd, started a new country band called the “Red Hot Burritos”, and would go on to record two albums and enjoy some notoriety and frequent radio play.

After several years, the Burritos disbanded and Corey began playing drums part-time in a rock band called “the Hollywood Vampires”. After a dramatic conversion to Christianity, he found himself unable to continue to play this type of music. He found a new love of music in the church.

His first Christian solo album, “Life of Praise” was released in 2017. This was followed by the EP “Take This City” in 2019, and various singles released in 2020. His newest EP, “We Never Stop” , released in June, 2021 was his first project with Grammy-nominated, two-time Dove Award winning producer, Ian Eskelin out of Nashville. Their first single, “Key to my Heart” went to #5 on the Canadian Christian Radio chart, followed by several other singles which also charted.

“Silver & Gold” is his latest release (2023), which hit #6 on the Canadian charts, and he is working on releasing a full album in the near future.

Corey loves leading worship at Harvest City Church in Regina, Saskatchewan, where you will find him enthusiastically singing, drumming or both. He travels with Lift Ministries, based out of Harvest City Church which holds evangelistic crusades in Africa.

He is married to Shannon and has three adult children: Katelyn, Hayden and Caleb, who is married to Gillian.
