Illustrate and Procyse Continue Prepping For Their Upcoming Collab Project With New Single 'Power'

May 09 2024

Releasing on digital streaming platforms on May 3, 2024, Power is the latest effort from the Colorado duo of Illustrate and Procyse.

Names carry more than just meanings. There is weight of varying degrees associated with names throughout history. Whether it is the name of a beloved leader, an infamous antagonist, a sports figure, a musician, or a family patriarch, names have the ability to stir a range of emotions from those who hear them. When it comes to the name of Christ, there is simply one characteristic that stands out above all else…Power.

“We often fail to realize how much power is truly in the name of Jesus. The ability to do things we could never imagine. Most people take the name in vain, but our hope is to show others the true power held in His name.” - Illustrate

Dropping via indie imprint Polished Arrow Music, Power is a bold proclamation of the authority that resides in the name of the conquering lion, Jesus Christ. Even though many try to deny His position as Lord over the earth, all will one day bow down and acknowledge Him as the one true King of Kings. Power acts as a call to see this truth now and to experience the blessings associated with its recognition.

Joining Illustrate and Procyse on the F-Plus produced record is Zae Da Blacksmith, one of Christian rap’s most respected underground artists in his own right. The trio of unique voices work as a well-oiled machine as they utilize the boom bap sound to drive home the message behind the song.

With Power as the second single for their upcoming project, Illustrate and Procyse are building plenty of anticipation for their collaborative album.

Be sure to add the new single to your favorite playlist and, if you haven’t already (or even if you have), check out the first single “All Of Us.”
