Joshua Omolade, a 23-year old artist, songwriter, and producer currently based out of El Paso, TX, who is also currently on active duty in the US Army, is releasing an indie-pop/rock track on July 19 called 'Damascus (Believer)'.

As the title alludes, this song is about Saul's process into becoming Paul-the-Apostle at the road to Damascus, how his life suddenly changed at the moment of his encounter with God, and how although he had knowledge of God as a Jewish scholar, his encounter with Jesus made his perception of God more real and vivid.

I had eyes that could not see
'Til You shined bright right in front of me
Now Your love is the air I breathe
Because You made a believer
My soul was an echo
Now You hold me and won't let go
I lived life but with no hope
'Til You made me a believer

- 'Damascus (Believer)', by Joshua Omolade

Joshua is originally from The Bronx, New York. He started writing music at age 17, aided by knowledge of the guitar and piano to write, sing, and produce music across different genres. He recently graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and is now currently serving active duty, but still takes the time to perform locally whenever and wherever he can, currently in the El Paso, TX region.
