Jason Singleton is a musician, preacher, and music educator who founded the group Jason Singleton & Friends who released their 19-track debut album THE LOW COUNTRY CHURCH EXPERIENCE, last year which has garnered over 2 million YouTube streams to date. Jason's follow-up album was recorded live at his home church The Destiny Worship Center in North Charleston, SC, by his Sound Of Destiny Choir. THE DESTINY EXPERIENCE album was released this summer and is a musical pilgrimage through the rich flavors of the Gullah Geechee Gospel sound.

"This album takes me back to my beginning as a young boy in the African American Church," Jason shares. "The album really echos who I am and the foundations of Gospel music."

The first radio single from THE DESTINY EXPERIENCE is "I Feel The Spirit." The single is a vibrant expression of syncopated rhythms fueled by the low country clap and the flurry and flavor of a Dixieland band. Jason and The Sound of Destiny Choir summon the Spirit with their harmonious voices, creating an atmosphere of high praise.

"I truly believe that this sound will minister to the masses," says Jason. "I want people to receive the blessing of being uplifted by our traditional sounds, and I want it to reach people of every color, culture, and creed."

"I Feel The Spirit" single and THE DESTINY EXPERIENCE album are released by Jason's SingleTone Music Group, and are examples of his dedication to preserving and modernizing the rich Gullah Geechee culture and sound through Gospel music. Jason has also begun his Low Country Church Experience Tour.

The Gullah Geechee culture on the southeastern coast of the United States is a celebrated heritage of the descendants of West and Central Africans who were enslaved and brought to the lower Atlantic states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. These states are culturally known today as "Low Country," where the Gullah Geechee traditions are proudly reflected in their food, arts and crafts, creole language, and music. There is a profound sound in the Gospel music that rings throughout the Low Country by an artist named Jason Singleton.
