Josh Wright Deals With The Aftermath of Grief On 'The Fall'

Sep 18 2024

Josh Wright, born and raised on a small cattle farm in Celeste, Texas, releases 'The Fall', the flagship single for his debut album set to release in 2025.

"In the aftermath of loss, grief and sin, I know what it’s like to feel a deep level of guilt and shame…which is to be expected. But I didn't quite expect what I experienced next", explains Josh.

"When I wanted to run, I felt God say over and over to “get up” and “keep going" as He redeemed, restored, and reminded me that I don’t have to stay down long. When it would have been easier to ignore it all, I leaned on my community and ended up putting pen to paper to write this song.

"I really wouldn't know your love at all if I didn't know the fall" is my way of saying that God’s love WINS. It always has. It always will. And if God can love me beyond my fault to meet my need - He can do the same for you.

To date, Josh’s music has been streamed over 4 million times, and he leads worship both nationally and internationally, recently leading over 400 missionaries in Cyprus off the coast of Israel. Josh was a Season 12 Top 20 Male American Idol Finalist and has shared the stage with Amy Grant, CeCe Winans, Steven Curtis Chapman, and many others.
