Christian Rock Up-and-Comers In Reborn Plant Seeds Of Hope With 'Heal The Broken'
Christian rock up-and-comers in Reborn are planting seeds of Gospel hope with “Heal The Broken,” their new single available now through Resurrection Records. You can find the single across major streaming platforms.
“‘Heal The Broken’ came from a place of telling others about Jesus and them not accepting Him,” the band explains. “Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who reject Jesus because they want to live their lives the way they please. It's mostly a song about planting the seed that Jesus Christ is our Savior and how easy He makes it to have faith and believe in Him.”
Reborn serves up that core Gospel message with full-bore guitars from Marco Aguiñaga and Dave Morga, a strong vocal throughline from Ryan Garza and a rhythm section rounded out by Rafael Negrón on bass and Rob Trevino on drums. The Texas-based rock band has been refining their craft since 2020, offering a heavy sound with a nu-metal edge. Producer Tabrun Baker cultivated that sound on this latest release.
With a deeply missional focus, every song Reborn has released hinges on their devotion to Jesus Christ. “Heal The Broken” follows in that tradition:
Seek and all the doors will open
All the chains will soon be broken
The mute will now be spoken for
And the blind will see again
If we trust in what was spoken
He will heal the broken
Reiterating that heart, the band says, “We want to be known as a band who serves. A band who leaves a message of hope and strength. No matter what you're going through or what you've gone through, there are people out there who have gone through the same things and made it through - with Jesus Christ at the center of our lives!”
