KXC Release 'Who the Son Sets Free'
'Who the Son Sets Free' is an electrifying worship anthem celebrating the liberating power of the gospel. With its vibrant melodies and uplifting lyrics, this song brings an energising burst of praise and joy, reminding listeners of the transformative freedom found in Jesus. Perfect for any playlist, it blends contemporary rhythms with timeless truths to inspire and invigorate your spirit. Feat. emerging London artist Alice-Lily, this is the 2nd single from KXC’s upcoming live album BATTLE (8th Nov).
Written by Manuella Attoh, Joe Alexander, and Josiah Coombes, “Who The Son Sets Free” is a vibrant praise song rooted in the Gospel and bursting with life. Manuella, Joe, and Josiah wrote this at a KXC songwriting day where we gather as friends to collaborate and create songs for the church. With its infectious joy and dynamic energy, “Who The Son Sets Free” is sure to uplift the soul and inspire praise from start to finish.
“I think our new worship album BATTLE is one of the most exciting things we’ve released as a church family. It captures the sound of what the spirit is stirring within our church, which is the sound of joy, faith and fresh spiritual hunger. We hope and pray these songs are a gift to the wider church in the same way they’ve been an incredible gift to our church family.” Pete Hughes Lead Pastor King’s Cross Church (KXC)
KXC Worship is based at King’s Cross Church (KXC) - a thriving Anglican church in central London. Since 2014 we’ve been writing worship songs both for our congregation and the wider church. Our recent songs ‘Jesus Name Above All Names’ and ‘O God Would You Move’ are being sung in churches across the UK and beyond. Earlier this year we also released ‘Show Us Your Glory’ - an album filled with anthems and spontaneous moments as well as ‘Never Sing Alone’ - a collaborative EP written and recorded together with Gas Street Music and Manor Collective.
On Friday 8th November 2024 we’ll be releasing BATTLE - a new live worship album that is packed with explosive joy and songs of celebration.
