Introducing 'Psalm 19 (The Heavens Declare)', Will Gray’s retro inspired take on Psalm 19. In this track, Gray collaborated with the up and coming UK artist Jemimah Paine.

With vocals taking centre stage and with a retro inspired groove, this is an indie-pop delight to cure deep winter blues. The track has 3 musical and thematic sections journeying through wondering at God’s awesome creation, delighting in His law and finally declaring to meditate on His goodness. The song helps the listener to do the same.

When commenting on his choice of collaboration, Will said the following ‘Jemimah is just one of those vocalists you dream to work with, the quality and tone of her voice just sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it. After listening to her beautiful last EP ‘Colour’ I knew I wanted to get her involved in the project and I wasn’t disappointed. She brought all the vision for the track and was a real joy to finesse and create Psalm 19 with.’

Falling firmly within the indie pop sphere, Will uses intricate pop production and acoustic driven instrumentation to re-imagine the ancient psalms and to break ground with new songs. Drawing from folk, soul, gospel and indie influences, he writes to engage the heart with both contemporary sounds and ancient themes. Having reached Psalm 19, Will continues to pioneer scripture focused songs aimed at helping people delight and meditate on scripture in new ways.
