Samantha Ebert Working On Debut EP Following Success of 'Flowers'
Samantha Ebert writes songs of hard-won hope. A singer-songwriter to the core, she delivers these songs with a quiet strength that is gentle and heartfelt. Born in Ottawa, Canada, Samantha started writing songs at age 10, and honed her voice from the stage of her family church.
In 2023, Samantha’s life took an unexpected turn when a devastating medical diagnosis left her confined to her bed for 6 months. Isolated in her struggle, but anchored in her faith, she found solace in songwriting. With a bouquet of “get well soon” flowers providing additional inspiration, Samantha wrote her breakthrough single "Flowers" in just two hours. Released independently, the song amassed more than 30 million streams worldwide and became a soothing anthem of unwavering faith for those facing similar difficulties.
Following the success of Flowers, Samantha released Overthinking early 2025 and is currently working on her debut EP, The Waiting. This introspective collection continues her faith-driven journey through suffering, offering solace to those who share her pain and guiding listeners toward hope in Jesus.
