Grammy Award-winning recording artist, songwriter, and producer Apostle Paul Martin returns to the spotlight with the release of his genre-defying new solo single, “All About Love.” Co-written with longtime collaborator Lynn Stanfield Wilbanks and produced by Martin himself, the track fuses the infectious energy of ‘80s pop with the soul of bluegrass—creating a fresh, genre-blurring sound Martin proudly dubs "hillbilly pop."



More than just a catchy tune, “All About Love” delivers a timely and universal message: in a world often divided, love still has the power to bring us together. It signals a personal and artistic rebirth for Martin—a season marked by resilience, reflection, and renewed creativity.

Earlier this year, Martin experienced a major health scare—a stroke that left him facing weeks of intensive rehabilitation. That journey now shines through in his new music. “I spent weeks in rehab focused on getting back to what I love—making music,” Martin shares. “This song was already in my heart. It just needed the right moment and message to come to life.”

With early airplay secured on Radio SoBro and Pop Blitz Magazine's New Music Friday pick, “All About Love” is already resonating widely. Lyrically poignant and musically rich, the song showcases Martin’s signature blend of authenticity, vulnerability, and sonic innovation.

“Social media has amplified so much division. This song is my response—a reminder that love still matters most,” reflects Martin. “Seems like we’re at each other’s throats 24/7, 365. I’m just reporting on the sadness I feel because of it.” He continues, “I woke up one morning singing the chorus to myself. The verses didn’t feel right, so I brought Lynn in to help work through them. I call this ‘hillbilly pop’ because I used bluegrass instruments in an untraditional way. I wanted to mash up the pop sound of the 'Thriller' era—showing that very different styles can coexist in one song, just like people should be able to coexist and thrive together.”

Through the poignant lyrics of “All About Love,” Martin invites listeners to step into the light with him.

Martin’s musical legacy runs deep. A Grammy-winner, multi-instrumentalist, and trailblazer across bluegrass, country, gospel, pop, and rock, he’s known for blending authenticity with innovation. As former frontman for chart-topping supergroup Exile and longtime member of Marty Stuart’s Fabulous Superlatives, Martin has shared stages and studios with icons including Billy Joe Royal, Kathy Mattea, Lorrie Morgan, Steve Wariner, and The Oak Ridge Boys. He has produced music for major films, national ad campaigns, and critically acclaimed albums spanning multiple genres. Raised in a recording studio in his hometown of Winchester, Kentucky, Martin joined his parents' band at just eight years old, beginning a lifelong journey defined by creativity and connection.

Today, he continues that legacy as the leader of Rockland Road, a dynamic, self-contained family band featuring his wife, Jamie Allen Martin (daughter of Duane Allen of The Oak Ridge Boys and Grand Ole Opry vocalist Norah Lee Allen), and their four musically gifted children: March, Kell, Texas, and Tallant.
