Presence Music Band Releases New Song/Video 'Where Would I Be'

May 27 2025

Presence Music Band is back with a vibrant new single, "Where Would I Be," now available through NRT Music. Written by Leah and Brandon Monson and produced by ZK Productions, this jazzy, ska-influenced pop anthem is a soulful celebration of grace and the unmistakable transformation found in Christ.

With lyrical imagery that journeys from biblical rebellion to modern redemption–referencing Lazarus, Cain, Paul, and more–"Where Would I Be" asks a powerful question that fuels gratitude and worship: Where would we be without the mercy and grace of Jesus? The song's infectious melody and honest, joyful delivery create an energetic and deeply reflective atmosphere. With lines like "Thank God that He paid such a high cost / The new me is lookin' more like Jesus," the track is a testimony of spiritual freedom and identity renewal.

Presence Music Band continues to find audiences throughout the Midwest with close to 30 dates scheduled through August, including four dates with Curb Records' artist, Dan Bremnes. The band will perform their new song alongside their growing catalog of hit tracks that have seen collective streams on Spotify and Apple Music grow past 200,000. A complete list of upcoming dates can be found at their official site PresenceMusicBand.com.

A new partnership with OneChild will be a key element at upcoming dates as they invite their audiences to help release children from the devastating effects of extreme poverty. "At Presence Music, our mission is to make it hard to miss out on Jesus," shares lead vocalist, Brandon Monson.

"Partnering with OneChild allows us to live that out beyond the stage–bringing hope to kids worldwide. Just like in our song 'Lower Me Down,' we're willing to tear the roof off if that's what it takes to reach others for Jesus."

Presence Music Band, founded by Brandon and Leah Monson in Duluth, MN, began as a grassroots movement to rally worship musicians for youth events. Today, with the talents of guitarists Merrill Miller and Jacob McCormick alongside a roster of special guests, the band has expanded its impact across the Midwest and beyond. Known for their high-energy performances and genuine worship moments, they've supported major artists such as Brandon Heath, Kim Walker-Smith, Ben Fuller, and Cory Asbury. Their previous single, "Down in the River" (featuring KJ-52), received airplay on over 100 stations in 8 countries.

Now partnering with NRT Music, Syntax Creative, Compass Music Management, and McLaughlin Music Group, Presence Music Band is positioned to take their signature sound to an even broader audience.

"Where Would I Be" is a defining track for the group–both a musical evolution and a heartfelt declaration of the freedom they've found in Jesus.
