for those who don't know much about Dutton, the band are frontman Logan Walter, Josh Hicks on bass, guitarists Brian Patterson and Shane Wilson, and drummer Nathan Jennings. The band have been playing in sorts since 2004, playing conferences, church events and concerts across America with their own sound of worship.

All Things Fade is their latest album and it kicks off as you'd expect a rock worship album to kick off. Welcome Here is 100mph of rock n roll with powerful worship lyrics. The album slows down and takes a step back for the title track All Things Fade, which has a strong chorus with the lyrics "When all things fade, Our God remains". This track has a great bridge that builds back into the chorus with the drums really pushing the song.
It's not long until the tempo kicks back in, the follow up tracks Call To Action and Stand Up! (Hope In A Better Place), the latter being a bit funkier and was something I wasn't expecting. The surprises don't stop there as there are all kinds of different moments on this album, just listen to Oh What A Joy and the country sounding Nothing's Gonna Get Me Down, two great tracks. But this album still keeps you guessing, it's unpredictable, love it.
The album is full of stand out moments, one of which being the amazing When Heaven Came Down with strong lyrics, the whole band infusing for a great track. If I had to try to explain the style and sound of this band, I would have to say they sound a mixture between All Star United and Jars of Clay, throw in with a bit of Bosh and I think your on the way to finding the sound of Dutton.
Overall a good solid album from these guys, I was personally impressed at the quality of sound Dutton have produced for this record. An album full of hits with a few exciting, interesting surprises along with strong worship lyrics and you have All Things Fade.
