With roots firmly planted in the vibrant artistic communities of New York and New Jersey, these two local luminaries boast a collective legacy spanning more than three decades in the music industry. Having honed their craft alongside industry giants such as Sony and Atlantic Records, they now channel their wealth of experience into illuminating the world with God's message. Emerging from prosperous careers as members of acclaimed bands, they embraced God’s calling to embark on their journey to bringing redemption music to the world.
Hailed as the originators of the innovative "redemption music" genre, Light on the Hill Records is dedicated to guiding individuals towards discovering God's presence in their lives through the transformative power of music. While many Christian labels cater primarily to Christian audiences, Light on the Hill Records distinguishes itself by striving to resonate with people of all backgrounds, fostering an inclusive environment for both Christians and non-Christians alike. As co-owner Matt Alberico articulates, “We are all going through something in our lives, we want to tell that story. We are about bringing a positive message at a time where people need hope. There is so much negativity going on, that I think people need a light in the world, as that beacon of hope. And that is Jesus”.
Matt and Fern specialize in original songwriting, music production, and artist development, serving as catalysts for the emerging talent they support. Currently collaborating with a diverse roster of artists who share their vision, they also welcome submissions from individuals who align with their creative mission.
