Tasha Layton Encourages with New Song 'Singing In The Dark'
Written for anyone navigating the most brutal storm of their life, Tasha Layton releases her new declarative ballad, "Singing in the Dark."
"This is one of my favorite songs on the new record. It was a help to me personally when we wrote it and still is today," shares Tasha Layton. "In Psalms, we read that even the darkness is not dark to God. Nothing is hidden from Him. He wants to call us out of darkness and into His glorious light. Even in the midst of the dark, we are called to praise⦠and fear goes running when the praises start."
Co-written by Layton, Paul Duncan, and Keith Everette Smith, "Singing in the Dark" offers encouragement to listeners during their most difficult times. This song, along with Layton's recent release "Thank You Isn't Enough," featuring The Choir Room, will be included in her upcoming album.
This year has been eventful for Layton, as she released her first live recorded worship album, Worship Through It Live. She also toured with Danny Gokey on his "Sound of Heaven" tour and made her national television debut on Fox & Friends in April. Later this year, she will release a new studio album and head out on a fall tour.
