Louder Than The Music

English Christian artist, songwriter and worship leader Andrew Gonoude from West Sussex, UK, has announced the upcoming release of his next song 'Wake Awake My Soul' which will go live on all music platforms everywhere on 01 November 2025.

The song was written in 2007 and is based on Psalm 57v7-11:

"’My heart is steadfast, O God, I will sing and make music. Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the
peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be
exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth."

"For many years it has been sung at outreaches and Sunday Services in different parts of the UK and New Zealand, particularly in my former home church in Crawley, West Sussex where my wife would often sing and play acoustic guitar and my son would play bass. In this recording, my wife sings background vocals", explains Andrew.
