Sep 09 2010

The newest album from GMA Dove Nominees 33Miles titled 'Today' is released on 5th October. Produced by All Star United singer Ian Eskelin (Francesca Battistelli, Stellar Kart) and Nathan Nockels (Passion, Phillips, Craig & Dean), 'Today' features 10 new songs with an overarching theme of encouraging listeners to make the most of their present time. The band released their self-titled debut in 2007 and their second album 'One Life' in 2008.

"We decided to name our album Today to bring even more focus to our mission, which is to encourage others to make the most of their 'miles' and live for Christ," explains lead singer Jason Barton. The album includes first single 'Where I Wanna Go' plus other notable tracks such as 'What Grace Looks Like', written by guitarist Chris Lockwood, 'Hold Me Up', which is meant to resonate with the church and 'Live', written by Jason.

33Miles will once again partner with Food for the Hungry to present their latest 'Today Tour' with special guests Chris and Conrad and JJ Heller. The tour will make stops in 30 different cities starting 16th September and continuing until 21st November. "The 'Today Tour' will showcase the new songs from our album Today as well as our previous radio hits like 'Thank You' and 'One Life To Love'," adds Barton. "We've done shows with Chris and Conrad in the past and have always enjoyed our time with them. JJ Heller is someone we've admired and can't wait to have out on the road."
