Our Journey... So Far is the sixth album by the wonderful BarlowGirl and their first compilation album. This album was put together with the band picking their favorite songs from their previous releases. With five albums under their belt, they settled on these 16 tracks to appear on this compilation.

This band have always been known for great creative singing voices, some of their songs have strong clean soft and beautiful tones, then on the other hand their vocals will have a haunting passionate feel. They are a diverse vocal band and that's why we have grown to love them.   Barlow Girl have always been an honest band with true lyrics, and always sung about issues close to them including their love for God, but at the same time they have never been scared to sing about the struggles of Christian life.

With 16 tracks on this compilation they have taken all the well known and best songs off their studio releases and put it as one package, and this could be the perfect album to get if you have enjoyed hearing this band but never bought an album. I could have had a list of 8 songs as my standout tracks as I think BarlowGirl have always produced great records, and given us something different each time.

I personally am not a fan of a band releasing a greatest hits, I have always seen them as the last chapter in a bands career, a send off for people when the band take their final bows. It is to be hoped that this isn't the case for BarlowGirl and the future will bring much more music from these talented women.
