Jonny Diaz Releases Self-Titled Second Album

Apr 08 2011

Singer/songwriter Jonny Diaz has released his second album. The self-titled project is available from IntegrityEurope now and is released in the US on 12th April 2011. Drawing from the emotional connection that his 2009 debut album 'More Beautiful You' delivered, Jonny brings musical diversity with the collaboration of great producers Chris Stevens (TobyMac, Sanctus Real), Ed Cash (Matthew West, Chris Tomlin) and Steve Wilson (Leeland, Hawk Nelson).

Diaz also collaborated with others in the songwriting process, such Audrey Assad, Mia Fieldes, Kate York (co-writer on 'More Beautiful You') and Chris Stevens. "It can be challenging coming up with new ways to express themes that are important to believers. Co-writing encourages and inspires me," says Diaz. "My own personal growth and new insights gave me fresh perspectives on old material, and co-writing added exciting and alternative ways to express what I was learning."

"Coupling the nuances of everyday life with his faith, Jonny's lyrical intentions reflect a personal passion allowing us to share in a relatable perspective on Christ", says INO Records. "Jonny Diaz is an artist with a mission - to serve the Body of Christ. And from the very beginning of his music career, his desire has always been to write songs that encourage and entertain, yet challenge fellow believers. His latest CD release, titled simply Jonny Diaz, is a collection of songs that definitely accomplishes that mission."
