Matt Redman Releases Single Ahead Of New Live Album '10,000 Reasons'
Matt Redman has released the first single from his forthcoming live album '10,000 Reasons', due for release on 12th July 2011 (11th July in the UK). The 'Never Once' single is available to download on the iTunes US and iTunes UK stores and speaks of God's faithfulness in our lives as He is always with us, and never abandons us. The album can be pre-ordered now at IntegrityEurope.
"I looked over twenty plus years of being a Christian - so much battle and so much blessing. I just had a sense of the utter faithfulness of God", said Matt about the single. Jason Ingram (One Sonic Society) who co-wrote the song with Matt, said: "This song has been the soundtrack to my life these past couple months".
'10,000 Reasons' will be Matt's eighth album and features 11 all-new songs recorded live in front of over 1,000 worship leaders during the 'LIFT' worship leader conference put on by Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia in February. Matt's co-writers on the album include Chris Tomlin, Matt Maher, Jason Ingram, Jonas Myrin, Tim Wanstall and Jesse Reeves.
"There's something that happens in the worshipping, singing church that you don't find anywhere else on the face of the earth", says Matt of the live recording. "I hope people end up hearing that on the album; it hopefully gives some life to the songs".
