Louder Than The Music

Gospel singer Melinda Watts has recorded the Christmas single 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas', available to download now, with 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the song going to the Dream Girlz Gathering Foundation that also partners with the United Nations (UN) 'Girl Up' Foundation to equip girls to be the next generation of leaders, benefiting at-risk tween and teen girls, ages 8-18, particularly girls in foster care.

The Stellar and Dove Award-nominated Gospel recording artist and winner of Gospel Music Channel's Gospel Dream talent search, who recently performed in Europe on her 2011 summer tour, worked on the song with Freddy Washington who arranged and produced it.

Watts is passionate about helping young women lead successful lives by being a positive influence. Being an English teacher by profession has also helped her establish two other foundations, 'Project Sunday' and 'Heaven's House for Girls', both which help support troubled young girls and their families through mentoring and ministering in the community.
