Sidewalk Prophets Release Second Album 'Live Like That'

Mar 27 2012

Sidewalk Prophets have now released their new studio album 'Live Like That'. The twelve track album, produced by Dove award-winner Ian Eskelin (Battistelli, Stellar Kart), features title track and current single 'Live Like That' and is the follow up to their major label debut 'These Simple Truths' released in 2009.

"We've been through a lot since the first album but our prayer remains the same... that this album would speak to the hearts of people" explains guitarist Ben McDonald. "We are well aware that God does not need us to do His work and it is because of His grace that lyrics penned in small-walled rooms in Nashville, TN are allowed to move and some times even spark change in people. It is our hope and prayer that Live Like That is an honest reflection of life, love and most of all family."

Other tracks on the new album include 'Love, Love, Love' with its hints of Motown soul, 'Help Me Find It' with its sense of longing and its big pop sound, and 'Keep Making Me', with its tight harmonies and its hope for the kind of brokenness that leads to spiritual breakthrough.

"It has been a labor of love, and each song is a cry from our heart to remind all of us to live like Christ", said the band's lead singer Dave Frey. The album's artwork features photos submitted by fans of people who inspire them.
