Louder Than The Music

Renowned songwriter Jennie Lee Riddle will release her first album 'People & Songs, Opus 1 Collective' on 8th May 2012. Best known for writing popular worship anthems such as 'Revelation Song' and 'When the Stars Burn Down', Jennie's songs have been recorded by some of the biggest names in Christian music including Newsboys, Kari Jobe, Jesus Culture, Rebecca St James and Phillips, Craig & Dean.

Describing her new album, Jennie said "It features 12 vocalist, 12 writers, and 15 songs... and we recorded to analog. Michael Farren (from Pocket Full of Rocks) produced it and it is a freshman project for both of us."

Vocalists on the album include Michael Farren, Crystal Yates, Will Yates (from New Nation Music), Don Poythress, Don Chaffer (from Waterdeep), Robbie Seay, Emily Riddle, Sarah Reeves, Jonathan Lee, Matt Boswell, and Jason Walker.

The album includes the single 'When Love Was Slain' with Crystal Yates and 'O Come Divine Messiah' with Robbie Seay, plus 'Revelation Song', 'When The Stars Burn Down' and 'You Are My Shepherd'.

"From the time my pen hit paper, to this very second there was not a moment where you have not been lovingly thought of," says Jennie to her audience. "This album contains everything I could want to say to you up to this point in my life and my (our) prayer is that You are made RICH with the knowledge of Christ and overflow with His goodness."

Last week Jennie won Inspirational Song Of The Year at the Dove Awards for Selah's version of 'Hope Of The Broken World'. In 2010 she won Dove Awards for both Songwriter of the Year and Worship Song of the Year for 'Revelation Song'.
