Former David Crowder Band Members Form New Group The Digital Age & Release 'Rehearsals' EP
Four former members of the David Crowder Band have formed a new group called The Digital Age who have just released their first EP titled 'Rehearsals'.
Available now from iTunes and Amazon (see 'buy' links, right) the six-track EP features some of the songs that were originally written for the final ever Crowder album 'Give Us Rest'. A full-length album from the new band is also planned.
Mark, Mike D, Bwack and Jack, formerly of the David Crowder Band, sought to continue writing, performing, and producing music together for the Church. Out of this desire was born The Digital Age.
"Our former musical endeavor, the David Crowder Band, put out it's final album in January entitled 'Give Us Rest Or (A Requiem Mass In C [The Happiest Of All Keys])'. We spent a good majority of 2011 writing and recording that 34 track behemoth, and it's something we're extremely proud of", explains the new band.
"When we moved things into our new studio and began rehearsing as The Digital Age in February, naturally, the first songs that we began to work up were some of the songs we wrote for 'Give Us Rest' that had never been performed live."
'Rehearsals' Track Listing:
1. Hallelujah
2. How Great Thou Art
3. After All (Holy)
4. All The Poor And Powerless
5. Oh My God / I Am A Seed
6. Never Grow Old
