Weight and Glory is the debut album from rapper KB who is signed to Reach Records alongside other rappers such as Lacrae, Sho Baraka, Tedashii and Trip Lee who also makes an appearance on this album.
KB is a fast flowing rapper and with his honest lyrics shares what's on his heart coupled with top notch production and tight flows to make this a fantastic debut. The album really shows that KB is a talented artist, making it surprising that this is only his first album.

The album is packed full of great beats and tunes, but one of the stand out points of this album is the message in the songs. Hard hitting, urgent, to the point, and in my opinion, a message that is delivered through some brilliant lyrics.
There are so many great lyrics and songs on this album. Don't Mean Much gives out the message that worldly things such as money, fame, drugs and sex don't mean anything. Mr Pretender talks about Christians who act holy in public but are a different person and are deep in sin in secret.
Open Letter (Battlefield) is a song from the view of letters sent to KB and covers issues from lust, sex and pornography to homosexuality and image. The song ends with a prayer for these people.
As well as KB dealing with struggles and sin, in which he points people to Christ, he bigs up Jesus and praises Him throughout the album, with some great worshipful lyrics. This album is encouraging, packed with spiritual adrenalin and will leave you wanting to listen again. It will appeal to fans of other Reach Records' artists, as well as fans of rap and hip hop in gernal.
Overall this is a strong and solid debut album, one of the best debut albums I have heard.
