Martin Smith Releases 'God's Great Dance Floor: Step 02'
Martin Smith releases his second full-length studio album, 'God's Great Dance Floor: Step 02', this week. The eleven-track album includes eight tracks from Martin's mini EPs, Movemement Three & Four, plus three previously unreleased songs, 'You Are My Salvation', 'Emmanuel' and 'Great Is Your Faithfulness'.
Earlier this month Martin was in Dublin, Ireland, to shoot a video to the album's beautiful atmospheric opening track 'You Are My Salvation'.
'Step 02' features the songs 'God Is Coming' with vocals from Sarah Bird, and Martin's daughter Elle-Anna singing on title track 'God's Great Dance Floor' - a track which has just been nominated for a GMA Canada Covenant Award for International Song Of The Year.
The album features co-writes with Tim Hughes (Worship Central), Reuben Morgan (Hillsong), Nick Herbert and Matt Redman.
Martin will be playing 10 UK dates on his first ever UK Tour this November. The 'Big Church Night In Worship Tour' will have a focus on worship and will feature many of Martin's new songs as well as some Delirious classics. Joining Martin will be the US band Leeland.
In October Martin will be joined by fellow British worship leader Matt Redman, winner of two Grammy Awards earlier this year, for a combined European Tour. The 'God's Great Dance Floor Worship Tour' will visit eight cities across mainland Europe this October, starting in the Czech Republic (9th), before visiting Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary, Germany and Holland.
