Chris Tomlin Confirms Title Of New Album 'Love Ran Red'

Aug 08 2014

Grammy award winning worship leader Chris Tomlin has announced that the title of his forthcoming studio album will be 'Love Ran Red'. The album is due for release on 28th October 2014.

"Our new album is coming this fall, titled Love Ran Red!" confirmed Tomlin online, posting a short video of himself announcing the news (see below).

In May this year Tomlin released the album's first single 'Waterfall'. The album's title comes from the song 'At The Cross (Love Ran Red)', which featured on this year's Passion conference album 'Take It All', and was co-written by Tomlin, Ed Cash, Matt Armstrong, Matt Redman and Jonas Myrin.

Tomlin released his last studio album, 'Burning Lights', in January 2013, entering the Billboard 200 overall album chart at number 1, whilst previous album, 'And If Our God Is For Us...' (2010) won a Grammy Award.

"It's crazy to think when this album comes out if will almost be two years since 'Burning Lights' came out, it just flies", the singer admits. "But I'm so excited about this new music. I can't wait for you to hear it."
