Andrew Peterson Creates 'After All These Years' Collection

Oct 07 2014

Singer/songwriter/author Andrew Peterson has announced his latest release, 'After All These Years', due out on 11th November 2014.

It's a body of work that showcases some of the most poignant songs from his 18-year recording career. Produced by Harold Rubens (audio engineer for Steven Curtis Chapman, Brandon Heath, Robbie Seay), 'After All These Years' presents many of Peterson's previous songs with new production and offers three new compositions: 'After All These Years', 'To All The Poets', and 'Everybody's Got A Song'. The physical copy of the album will feature eighteen songs, while the digital version will offer two bonus tracks.

"After finishing the last Wingfeather book I knew it was time to put out a new record, but I was creatively spent," explains Peterson. "It seemed like a good time to put out a collection, maybe write a few new songs and re-record a couple of old ones with some good friends.

But it quickly blossomed into a pretty massive undertaking - we ended up recording twelve songs, which is even more than a typical record. Getting into the studio with those guys and reliving all the songs reminded me why I got into music in the first place. It was a huge blessing."

The first single to launch is the title track, 'After All These Years', which Peterson wrote as a song of gratitude as he looked back at God's provision over the years.
