Jan 14 2015

South African singer/songwriter Jason Zeeman is making his solo EP 'All Things New' available free via NoiseTrade (see below).

The SAMA (South African Music Awards) winning artist has been actively involved in the music industry for the last 12 years. Jason fronted the South African, Johannesburg based, rock band Reason and recorded and released 3 studio albums with them before going solo in 2010.

Highlights for Jason with Reason include supporting international acts such as Delirious? and Tree63. Jason was also part of the Worship Central band on tour in South Africa last year which was lead by Tim Hughes.

Six song EP 'All Things New' features a guest appearance by former Tree63 front man John Ellis on the title track. Discussing the album in an interview with Louder Than The Music, Jason explained how it took time to feel comfortable recording a new album.

"Between 2009 and now, I had been in studio 3 times and recorded 3 full albums. Only the last of which (All Things New) was completed and released. I wrote so many songs. Tried so many things and walked away from it all. It just never felt right.

'All Things New' just felt right. The time seemed right, all the right doors opened and it was, for the most part, pretty seamless and downright enjoyable. I had learned so much about myself, my music, and my journey as a human being and God follower, that things came together at the right time in the right way."

'All Things New' Track Listing:
