Singer, worship leader, record producer and modern-day hymn writer Sandra McCracken, whose soulful, folk-gospel sound carries influences of artists like Emmylou Harris and Norah Jones, has self-released her 12th independent album, Steadfast Live.

Produced by McCracken, directed by rising television and film editor Zach Prichard (Brad Paisley / National Geographic / ESPN) and including over 70 minutes of content, the Steadfast Live album and concert documentary includes dynamic musical arrangements of favorites from McCracken’s Psalms (2015) and God’s Highway (2016) recordings alongside five new songs and hymns, stories behind the songs and scripture readings.

If you are looking for intimate, beautiful and chilled music then this album is a must. I found myself sitting back in my arm chair with a cup of coffee and joining in and worshipping, just letting the songs wash over me as I thought, prayed and sensed what God was doing in my life. This is that kind of album.

There are so many tender moments on this album, 'Steadfast' is amazing as is 'Sweet Comfort'. The song 'Justice Will Roll Down' has a country feel to it and something really special happens when Sandra sings her version of 'Be Thou My Vision'.

Also as a side note, at seventeen tracks long you have plenty of music for your dollar!

This is the kind of album to put on when you have to step away from the business and madness of the loud world we all live in. Take time out to really embrace this album. Sandra McCraken is a talented musician and singer/songwriter who has a stunning voice that fits perfectly in the setting of this album. Intimate acoustic music at its best.
