Christina Johnston Releasing Debut Album 'Blessing' Plus UK Church Tour

Talented opera singer Christina Johnston will release her debut album 'Blessing' on 22nd September 2017, before undertaking her 8-date The Miracle of The Voice UK Tour visiting churches through out September and October.

Christina Johnston is said by many to be one of a kind in the music world. Despite her young age she is already making a name for herself in the classical sphere with a vocal range that most could only dream of. She has toured in Europe, Asia and South America and counts Presidents and State Officials amongst her biggest fans.


The stunning debut album 'Blessing', released on 22nd September - consists of a mix of highly popular opera arias plus some rarities that were totally suited to her high soprano voice.

These include selections by Mozart, Rachmaninov, Puccini, Bellini, Dvorak, Gounod, Handel, Grieg, Johann Strauss, Canteloube and the notoriously difficult arias ‘Der Hölle Rache’ from The Magic Flute and ‘Bell Song’ from Lakmé by Delibes. On the album, Christina displays her gift for languages by singing in no fewer than nine, including English, German, Latin, Russian, French, Italian, Czech, Norwegian and the French dialect Occitan.

‘Blessing’ is released on a brand new label, TADLOW CLASSICS, which is a recent addition to the highly acclaimed and award-winning Tadlow Music Label run by veteran film and classical music producer and orchestral contractor James Fitzpatrick. Some 30 years ago, James formed Silva Screen Records with his business partner Reynold da Silva and went on to great success with the discovery of soprano Lesley Garrett, which in a way started the ‘classical crossover’ movement. Since the formation of Tadlow Music, James has worked on albums by some of the biggest names in this ‘crossover’ field including Katherine Jenkins, Alexander Armstrong, Dame Vera Lynn, Ricky Martin, Michael Ball, Alfie Boe and many more.
