Oct 23 2017

The new live album recorded at the UK's Soul Survivor youth event earlier this year, titled 'Soul Survivor Live 2017: The Promise', will be released on 17th November. The album will feature worship leaders include Tom Smith, Beth Croft, Guvna B and Rend Collective.

The full track listing will be confirmed soon but is expected to feature brand new songs from the Soul Survivor team including 'Jesus I Love You', 'Reality', 'Sing Your Glory', '1000 Years' and, of course 'The Promise' as well as covers of well known worship songs.

The Promise (Live) is a great mix of original and popular worship songs that is due to bring you the sound of summer all year round.

After many years of making Shepton Mallet their home each Summer, 2017 saw Soul Survivor make a new dwelling place in a larger venue in Peterborough. Andy Croft and the team welcomed over 26,000 young people this year to their events, with a staggering 1359 known new Christians.

The focus of these events is to bring young people closer to Christ and empower them to live purpose filled lives. The events are a great mix of youthful exuberance, joy and raw moments of worship. This Live album from the Summers gathering has captured this experience.

Soul Survivor is a youth organisation based in the UK which oversees a number of Christian festivals for young people, including annual events in several countries around the world. The first Soul Survivor youth conference took place in 1993, led by Matt Redman, who regularly led the worship at the event. In addition to Matt Redman, this movement has birthed worship leaders Tim Hughes, Ben Cantelon, and Beth Croft. It is currently fronted by Tom Smith. Each year, Soul Survivor releases a recording of the live worship that was experienced during their summer festivals. The heartbeat of this UK based charity is to introduce young people to Jesus and equip, encourage and empower them to live their whole lives for Him.
