The Elms Offer Double Length Version Of New Album 'The Great American Midrange'
The new album from The Elms, 'The Great American Midrange' is released on 15th September and the band are offering an exclusive digital version on their website which includes the full-band studio versions of all 12 songs plus an acoustic version of each track too.
Produced with Brent Milligan and recorded between November 2008 and March 2009 at Warner Bros. Studios and Söndwerks in Nashville, the album has been eagerly awaited by fans and the music industry alike.
Explaining the idea behind the acoustic versions of the song, the band's record label said, "While recording 'The Great American Midrange' in March 2009, the members of THE ELMS found that the songs on the album existed very comfortably in a simple, stripped-down light in addition to their full-band arrangements. Thus, the idea to release the extended album 'The Great American Midrange: COMPLETE' was born."
Available exclusively at TheElms.net, the 'COMPLETE' version offers the new studio album in its entirety, plus additional acoustic interpretations for every single song on the album, giving a total of 24 new tracks for the same price as the traditional version. The band say the 'COMPLETE' version is "offered via high-quality 320k digital download, and provides nearly two hours of brand-new music and supplemental materials so you can observe 'The Great American Midrange' from two very distinct musical angles".
