Bright City Release New Single 'Hope Lives' In Run Up To Easter
Bright City return this week with the release of their new Easter single ‘Hope Lives’ following hot on the heels of their instrumental project Still, Vol. 2 (Integrity Music).
2017 saw the release of Bright City’s second studio album Hello Maker, including the song ‘Rock Of Our Salvation’ which has already surpassed 2 million streams on Spotify- the most successful song to date from the family of artists.
Now the Brighton (UK) based collective have penned a new anthem of hope, restoration and victory for the church to sing this Easter 2018.
‘Hope Lives’ is the soundtrack to this year’s Easter campaign at St Peter’s Church in Brighton, home of Bright City. Explaining the concept, Henry Milne (Bright City Visual Arts Leader and songwriter of ‘Hope Lives’) said:
“Over the next couple of weeks, hundreds of people will be coming through the doors of St Peter’s for our Easter services, hearing a message of hope in Jesus.
“This year, alongside a series of campaign visuals, we wanted to write a song that carried the story of Jesus’ cross, resurrection, reign and return, to our city and beyond. No matter what situations people find themselves in, hope lives in Jesus’ name.”
