Worship Leader Brittani Scott Releases 'Fight For Us' EP
Seattle-based worship leader Brittani Scott has just release her debut Contemporary Gospel EP 'Fight For Us'. Brittani and her husband are church planters and her mission is to write and release songs of truth and power that are relevant for today’s church.
"This project was born out of a desire to resource the church with songs of faith and surrender", explains Brittani. "I believe the messages we sing over our churches and cities are so important and these songs are a reminder of who God is, what He is capable of, and who the church is when we’re surrendered wholly to Him."
"I've been singing since I was 3, playing piano since I was 10, and writing songs since I was 11. God gave me a passion for music and leading worship when I was a little girl, and that passion has continued to burn in my heart.
Thankfully, my parents and siblings have always encouraged me to pursue my talents and been my biggest fans. In July 2007, I married my wonderful, amazing, handsome, talented husband, Ryan. I couldn't have asked for a more loving man, and he has supported me in passion for music and inspired me to do more.
In August 2012, I was privileged to direct a live praise and worship album put on by Finley United Pentecostal Church. This was the first recording I was able to be a part of, and we recorded 9 songs that I wrote, of which I sang 4. The experience encouraged me to take my music career to the next level and I am thankful for the opportunity I have to minister to others by doing what I love to do!"
